THE THANKSGIVING THAT ALMOST HAPPENED, THEN NEVER HAPPENED

One holiday. Five siblings. Forty years of secrets. A family does not explode. It cracks. Then it caves. Then it quietly stops showing up.

THE PREMISE: It starts with potato salad. A stupid argument on a FaceTime call between four adult siblings planning Thanksgiving dinner. But Bobby, Bella, Wallace, and Wanda aren't just fighting about food. They're fighting about everything they've never said to each other. Everything they've been hiding. And over the next five days, every single one of those secrets is coming out.

SETTING: Modern day, November 2025. Five days before Thanksgiving. The Carter family spans an unnamed American city and its suburbs. Four grown siblings, scattered across town in their separate lives, connected only by group texts, obligatory holiday gatherings, and a shared history they've all been running from. This is the story of what happens when running stops being an option.
