Phantom Pockets (n.)
A naturist’s muscle memory. Hands go hunting for pockets or a place to stash stuff that is not there.
Example
"Someone at the nudist resort handed me their keys, wallet, and phone. I just stood there staring at my hands like, 'Where the hell am I supposed to put these?' Phantom pockets got me good this time.”
Nudie-Newbie (n.)
Someone at their first nudist event who's trying way too hard to act like this is totally normal while internally screaming.
Example:
You could spot the nudie-newbie a mile away. They were having the world's most intense conversation about the weather, nodding way too enthusiastically, making aggressive eye contact, doing everything possible to prove they are totally cool with everyone being naked. While internally screaming. I can't believe I'm doing this.
